Notes: Lindsey has an enormous amount of genealogical information on the LINDSEYs and allied families, all from Oxfordshire; most of them can be traced back to the 16th century, and one to c.1500. She has identified a number of branches, with the main line being well-documented from Cogges to Yarnton to Virginia, and is relatively confident about a link from Cogges back to Bampton.
