BARNETT <1660 Souldern
FORTNAM <1850 Great Barford (Barford St Michael), Deddington

Notes: At some time post Civil War Johannes BARNETT moved to Tachbrook, nr Leamington Spa in Warwickshire. He was born in Souldern and was a yeoman, but I have no further information about the family. The BARNETT family were definitely Unitarians in 18th century and initially the Unitarians met on land granted them on Warwick Castle land (GREVILLE family). The BARNETTs were tenant farmers on land owned by the GREVILLEs. I would be interested to find out whether the BARNETTs left Souldern because they had Parliamentarian sympathies in a mainly Royalist area.
