DNA Linking dna Maxwell is keen to contact any direct male descendants of the male siblings of his 3xgreat grandfather, Richard FIELD, born 1743 in Nuneham Courtney to Edward FIELD (born c. 1700 in Nuneham Courtney) and Mary NAPPER (born 1700 in Sutton Courtenay). Richard's male siblings were: John (1724), Thomas (1728), Robert (1729), Joseph (1732) and Benjamin (1736). All were baptised in Nuneham Courtney.

In the event a living direct male descendant of Edward FIELD can be established, Maxwell would be prepared to contribute to the cost of analysis of the Y-Chromosome DNA of the descendant to confirm the link.

Maxwell also would be interested in getting in contact with owners of Oxfordshire Field family trees originating in the 17th Century and in particular those originating in the south west of the County. (To learn more about DNA Linking dna, visit the DNA Linking page.)
