HARSE Any Oxford

Notes: The female line of my in-law's family was HARSE. We have a letterhead of Benjamin Harse, Manufacturer of the Celebrated Oxford Cricket Balls (Registered) 65, St. Mary's Road, Oxford. In the 1970's my now spouse and I visited this street and found nothing to illuminate our search. We were young. Now we have a cousin, Scott Harse, who wants to learn more about his family tree. We know that Polly Harse arrived in Canada from England with three teenage sons. She never spoke about her family. Raising three sons on a homestead was a challenge for a couple with children more than a hundred years ago, let alone for a woman alone. We know very little, only this letterhead in our grandfather's possession who was one of those sons who arrived with his mother. This gives us a reason to start a search in Oxfordshire.
