BROTHERTON Any Woodstock District

Notes: I am currently researching my direct male line Brotherton ancestors - among all the others. I have quite strongly established that I had a "6GF" called Josiah Brotherton, an Ironmonger, living in Woodstock in the early 1700's. He married an Elizabeth Smalbone from Stoke Lyne (near Bicester) in 1715. Josiah died in 1749. I know that there are other Brothertons living in/around Woodstock at this time. I am currently trying to connect 6GF Josiah and his family (my family) to these others. I'm sure that they must be fairly closely related. I would welcome any input that might help me tease out the Brotherton family in Woodstock and surrounds during the late 1600's and subsequently. Regards, Roger Brotherton, Perth Western Australia
