Notes: James WHEATLEY was born 15 Mar 1856 in Dorchester OXF to an established Oxfordshire family, and trained as a tailor in Dorchester. He moved to the burgeoning wool textile city of Bradford WRY in the 1870s. There he married Ann COBB on 21 June 1879, and went on to run his own successful tailoring business.
