PARKER 19c Long Handborough, Wootton, Woodstock

Notes: I have been researching the Parker side of my mother's family. Her mother was Viola Maud Parker born in Tasmania. Her father was Edward George and his father was William. He went to Tasmania in the early 19c and was in the Royal Engineers. I think James' (William's father) sister was Mary Parker, a convict on the First Fleet. I have researched back to William Parker m. Anne Winter in a clandestine marriage at St George Mayfair, London on 7 Dec. 1753. They came from the Wootton, Woodstock, Long Handborough area of Oxfordshire.
