Notes: A 5 x Great-Grandfather, Robert Blackman was baptised at St Mary's, Henley in January 1735. I am reasonably certain that Robert's father was John Blackman (c.1711-1772), also from Henley and a brewer / pub-owner, and that Robert's mother was Elizabeth. I estimate John and Elizabeth would have married in around 1732. Does anyone with knowledge of this family know with any certainty what Elizabeth Blackman's maiden name was?
